Duties and import VAT
Brazil taxes server imports heavily. Import duty (II) is 16-25% depending on unit value, raised in February-March 2026, and IPI 15%, PIS/COFINS and state ICMS stack on top: roughly 77-90% of customs value in total, much of it creditable for B2B buyers. Refurbished servers need a non-automatic import licence. We sell EXW Dalian; we strongly recommend a freight forwarder with a licensed despachante who delivers DAP/DDP and manages NCM classification, taxes and clearance.
No import experience needed: we sell EXW and help you find a freight forwarder who handles air freight, customs, duties and door delivery (DAP/DDP).

Frequently asked questions
How long does shipping servers from China to Brazil take?
All our servers ship by air, landing at São Paulo Guarulhos (GRU). The freight forwarder we help you arrange handles customs clearance and delivers to your door in 1–2 weeks. The forwarder also handles NCM classification, which drives the whole tax base.
Who handles customs and import duties?
We sell EXW Dalian, so we don't clear your customs ourselves. Because Brazil layers Import Duty (II ~16%), IPI, PIS/COFINS and state ICMS (~18%), we strongly recommend a freight forwarder who delivers DAP/DDP. They use a licensed importer/despachante to prepay the taxes, classify the NCM and clear customs, and you receive the servers at your door.
How do warranty returns work in Brazil?
Every server carries a 1-year warranty. If a component fails, we use advance replacement: the replacement part ships from Dalian before we receive the faulty one, and RMA processing is completed within 24 hours. Transit time for the replacement matches the air-freight window above.

São Paulo is Latin America's largest data-center market, but Brazilian import is a project in itself. The importer needs Radar/Siscomex habilitation, and a single server (NCM 8471.50) stacks Import Duty (II ~16%), IPI, PIS/COFINS and state ICMS (~18%). Budget for a licensed despachante — get the NCM wrong and the whole tax base shifts.
